Well, the Games are underway, some people are working 16 hours a day and the workload has gotten so bad, I'm seeing people pushed to the breaking point. There's often a mad dash to get pieces edited, mixed and onto the prime time show to make air. The great Izzy De Herrera said it best. He said the only thing it compares to is working in a restaurant kitchen. Yeah, a restaurant that never closes. He's done both, in addition to coddling on-air talent, and a brief stint in Washington working for the pro-termite lobby.
It's almost that "WHY did I do this again"??! time.
Which is why the Commissary has bowls of Oreos, trays of cheesecake, brownies, cakes, fresh cookies and candy heapted atop a groaning sideboard. Mangement's smart. Keep 'em on a sugar high. And keep a tank truck of Starbucks around.
I just want to eat all the time. And I do.

Hey Bill - I keep hearing the guy from "Flashback", not the "Voice of God" during the broadcast...how do I switch to VOG?
